“If you use EMS, it’s a no-brainer to have this program.”
“When we have our big events, our weekend services, our mid-week services, we just go on and verify that everything turned out like it needed to be. We don’t have to really do anything; it works kind of seamless.”
Savannah Christian Church uses Dean Evans EMS Professional for scheduling events. Their HVAC systems consist of mostly packaged air handling units with electric heating and chilled water cooling from a central plant. These units are dedicated to one or more rooms. Their building uses the Carrier I-VU+ building automation system which communicates to Events2HVAC using BACnet/IP.
“My reduction in the last calendar year of electricity usage was 13%, and that is especially remarkable because we added 43,000 square feet to our campus.”
“Of course it is not just electricity. It’s also conserving heating fuel as well because when space is not scheduled, it becomes unoccupied in the system and air flows are either reduced or cut off to the those spaces.”
MSUM uses Dean Evans EMS Enterprise for scheduling rooms on campus. HVAC systems include various legacy Honeywell systems, integrated into a front-end product called Honeywell Enterprise Buildings Integrator™ (EBI) which communicates to Events2HVAC using BACnet/IP. They also have a Johnson Controls Metasys MSEA™ HVAC system serving another building and a JCI P2000 security system for door access control.
“It’s just been a huge blessing because I am pulled in so many different directions that this is giving me absolute peace of mind. It takes one chunk off of my plate that I don’t even have to think about. Once it was setup and we got things where they need to be…the word is autopilot.”
“It definitely has saved unbelievable amount of hours in regards to scheduling and making sure that everything was turned on when it was supposed to be.”
Legacy is using Dean Evans EMS Lite to schedule rooms, NetworkThermostat Net/X thermostats and Tridium BACnet/IP for HVAC controls, and JCI P2000 security for door access control.
“It is working well, and I am not spending my Fridays programming the air conditioning anymore for the following week, which is perfect for me.”
“The automation of it is well worth the cost.”
Chapelwood has a WebCTRL® system by AutomatedLogic for HVAC controls and uses Dean Evans EMS Professional for room scheduling.
