Most HVAC contractors are not familiar with the energy management benefits of integrating facility schedules with HVAC, lighting, and security controls. This kind of integration is new. It was developed independently, not by a major HVAC manufacturer. We are working to educate controls integrators and HVAC contractors, but we recognize that there is a need to support you as you plan new construction and major renovations. Therefore, we have developed a specification for this type of integration that you can put directly into your plans and specifications.
