Device Interfaces

A device interface is a component of Events2HVAC that interacts with a particular HVAC system, thermostat, or device. The device interface is responsible for sending commands to the equipment serving a particular room or zone during an event. Multiple device interfaces can be implemented on a single site. So if your facility or campus uses multiple vendor systems, you can control devices from each of those networks.

We currently have device interfaces for the types of systems shown below:

Many popular building automation systems are BACnet/IP enabled including:

  • Alerton

  • Automated Logic WebCTRL

  • Delta Controls

  • Honeywell EBI

  • Johnson Controls MSEA

  • Siemens Apogee, Desigo

  • Tridium Niagara AX-JACE

  • And many more

BACnet/IP is the most common way Events2HVAC communicates with building automation systems. However, Events2HVAC also supports many residential and small commercial communicating thermostats typically used in churches and other facilities. See our full list of supported thermostats.

Is Your Control System Not Shown?

If your controls system is not shown above, email us and we will investigate the possibility of integrating with your system through an open API. If that is not possible, we may be able to develop a new device interface for your system.

If you have no controls system or an older proprietary system, we still might be able to help. Contact us to discuss your options.
